Become a Keystone Employer and Help Shape Regional Skills
Our continuous work on behalf of the Department for Education encompasses all business sectors, and in its June update Skills England highlighted 10 key sector areas that it wanted to focus on. Add to that Agriculture/Agri-Tech, which is extremely relevant in Norfolk and Suffolk, and we have 11 focus areas to target for Skills in our region.
The success of the LSIP is through our ongoing work with our employers. Our Keystone Employer programme is vital in closing the gap between FE/HE provision and the business community.
We are seeking local businesses in our region to become LSIP Keystone Employers.
This insight will provide invaluable information that will feed into the local skills system and help to shape future curriculum and training programmes.
This will require a small amount of input of time on the business’s part to enable us to build an ongoing relationship that relies on the following:
- Providing valuable & realistic insight into skills challenges for your sector
- Attending scheduled MS Teams calls/meetings to discuss skills in detail
- Completion of a short survey
You would need to demonstrate the following:
- A passionate commitment to skills development in the region
- The ability to collaborate with LSIP and wider stakeholders as required.
Your commitment
- Quarterly round-table mini-forums by Sector – focusing specifically on the biggest challenge your sector is facing for skills
- Ongoing feedback via our survey work
- Forwarding our Surveys to businesses in your network that would be relevant
- Attending (where possible) our LSIP events and helping us with roundtable discussions
- Providing us with marketing material for our newsletter that focuses specifically on skills.
- Your Profile on our keystone employer directory
- Proudly displaying the Keystone Employer Logo and marketing pack.
You would need to demonstrate the following:
