The Government and Norfolk County Council are proposing to work together on a devolution deal to allow Norfolk to unlock long-term funding and gain greater freedom to decide how best to meet the local needs and create opportunities for the people who live and work in the county. Put simply, ‘A County Deal for Norfolk’ means some decisions and funding previously controlled in Westminster could, in the future, be decided by Norfolk. Stand 4 – Supply Chain Skills Development Fund
The Supply Chain Skills Development Fund (SCSDF) is responsible for providing funds to help businesses develop and upskill their workforce. The SCSDF can fund up to 50% of the training costs for each employee, up to £1,000 per employee and £10,000 per business*. It is funded by the European Social Fund and managed by Suffolk County Council in partnership with Norfolk County Council.

The New Anglia Growth Hub provides access to a range of advice and services for businesses both new and well-established.
New Anglia Growth Hub can help your business access a range of business support services from hundreds of sources. The hub’s service is FREE and IMPARTIAL and can help you access grants, finance, start-up support, international trade support and other specialist advice from single point of contact. Our Business Growth Advisers can talk with you over the phone or you can request a free appointment at your business premises.
The New Anglia Growth Hub is managed by Suffolk Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and is supported by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the European Regional Development Fund.
Stand 8 – Norfolk County Council Adult Learning Services
Norfolk County Councils Adult Learning Services offer support for learners with additional needs. They are committed to supporting all learners. If you require additional assistance in order to complete your chosen course, let them know when you are enrolling, or you can talk to them at any stage of your programme. Their aim is to provide encouragement and support, and to promote independent learning and learner progression.
