Claudia Roberts

As Chief Executive of Zoological Society of East Anglia, Claudia leads the wide-ranging commercial, conservation, community, and education portfolio to ensure that ZSEA is at the forefront of the changing role and voice of the modern zoo, having led the covid survival plan to secure ZSEA’s future.

Claudia is passionate and actively engaged in Cost of Living Crisis. As a highly versatile Director, She was awarded the Inspirational Leader Award 2022 at the MBA 30 years Celebration Awards at U.E.A and is passionate about developing the regional economy, skill development and supporting community and local conservation projects.

Lucy Parish

Lucy has been leading The Feed since 2019 and was formally appointed as CEO in autumn 2020. Her role involves setting the objectives for the coming years, shaping and steering the strategy and ensuring our finances are in good shape.  

Carole Burman

Carole has over 30 years of experience working in the world of HR. She has worked for blue-chip companies in FMCG & department store retailing, manufacturing, warehousing & distribution and automotive retail.
She has supported Chief Executives, Board of Directors, Entrepreneurs, Business Professionals from PLC’s to small family-run businesses by drawing on her wealth of HR expertise and commercial acumen.
Using her own authentic approach as HR Director, Carole has helped transform Marshall Motor Group’s sales from an underlying £250m to just under £1bn in 5 years. Plus, it went from being a regional company to a top 10 UK retail group and was voted as a “Great Place to Work” by its staff.
Although a cliché, HR and people really are passions of hers, which is why she decided she wanted to do things a bit differently and bring high-quality HR services to all businesses, regardless of their size, but at an affordable price.
Carole created MAD-HR in 2014 as she wanted to bring a new brand of HR to East Anglia and was joined by Charlotte Bate as co-DIrector in 2016.
She is a Board member of the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce, Suffolk Family Carers and a member of the Innovation and Engagement Advisory Board at the University of Suffolk.

Justin Galliford

Justin joined Norse Group in 2006 after completing an MBA in Business Administration and Management. He also holds an MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment and a BSc in Environmental Sciences

He worked as Operations Director in a wide range of Norse divisions, and helped develop the company’s pioneering local authority partnership model.

In 2020 Justin was appointed Chief Operating Officer, and in January 2022 became Chief Executive Officer. In this role he has embraced the ESG agenda, introducing the mantra of “Improving People’s Lives”.

Norse Group has an annual turnover of £350 million, and employs over 9,500 people across the UK. Wholly owned by Norfolk County Council, it is the country’s largest and most successful local authority owned trading company.

This ownership means that Norse Group combines commercial knowhow with a public service ethos, and has a strong commitment to ESG, championing social value and committed to achieving net zero.

As a Local Enterprise Manager across the East, my role is to support the businesses in the community and I can help you connect with the right professionals, networks and knowledge.

I work closely in the local marketplace to support, develop and add value to SMEs by providing advice, bringing together local businesses and facilitate events to encourage companies, agencies and professionals to work together and learn new skills by sharing their top tips and experiences on a wide variety of topics.
