Michael Gray, Head of Skills
“Having the skills in place in our local workforce that can unlock the full growth potential of Suffolk is vital if our local businesses, and ultimately the residents of Suffolk, are to fully benefit from economic growth in the region.
Suffolk County Council recognises the importance of the role that ‘Local Skills Improvement Plans’ are due to play, embedded within a wider strategic approach, to help us all achieve this. It will be exciting to see the deeper level of understanding regarding employer’s skills needs that will be obtained through the delivery of the Local Skills Implementation Plan and how we can use this to help enhance the further development and delivery of activity and interventions.”
