Member Training: Level 2 Award in Awareness of Asperger Syndrome (QCF)

The Level 2 Award in Awareness of Asperger Syndrome provides an introduction to the condition, which will be of particular interest to those who come into contact with individuals with Asperger Syndrome.The objective of the qualification is for learners to develop their knowledge and understanding of Asperger Syndrome in order to better support individuals with the syndrome, in their professional practice, particularly in relation to supporting learning.Learners may extend their knowledge of other learning difficulties or disabilities through further Level 2 awareness awards or progress onto higher level qualifications such as the Level 3 Gateway Qualifications Level 3 Award in Supporting Children and Young People with Autism
