Bradwell-based Anglian Combination side AC Mill Lane has a new name on its shirts for the new football season, after chartered accountants, business advisers and financial planners Lovewell Blake stepped in to become the first team’s kit sponsor. Following promotion last season, AC Mill Lane is playing in the fourth division of the league this year, under coach Steve Hemp, who works in Lovewell Blake’s Great Yarmouth office. Announcing the sponsorship, Lovewell Blake partner Richard Keeler said, “It is great to support a real local success story. AC Mill Lane has come up through the local leagues and continues to thrive in the competitive environment of the Anglian Combination.  “We are delighted to be supporting a genuine community club, more so because the first team is coached by one of our colleagues.” Steve Hemp, who as well as coaching the first team is also vice-chairman of the club, added, “As we climb the league ladder, the club is reliant on the support of our local community to keep going, so we are very grateful to Lovewell Blake for stepping in and becoming kit sponsor.  “The team members are all from the local community, and we aim to make AC Mill Lane a club which Bradwell can be proud of.” As well as the Saturday first team, AC Mill Lane runs a reserve team and a youth academy, and welcomes new players.
