We were delighted to welcome Chloe Smith, Conservative MP for Norwich North, to our Norwich office to meet our apprentice Kori Moore, and to discuss how the “Norwich for Jobs” scheme had benefitted us. The Norwich for Jobs project, which has proven to be a great success, aims to encourage local businesses to invest in young people and to connect young people with opportunities. Chloe, who has been heavily involved in the project, was keen to see how Kori had progressed and what skills he had learnt since commencing his apprenticeship with the Practice. Kori stated that his apprenticeship had “given him the opportunity to pursue his dream of a career in architecture in a supportive and creative environment”.

In the last year we have welcomed two new apprentices to our experienced team and both havebecome valued assets to us, exceedingexpectations in all respects. It’sbeen fantastic watching both develop their skills and improve their employability. Our Senior Associate, Andrew Clarke describesNorwich for Jobs as a “fantastic initiative” andhe hasbeen delighted with Kori’s progress, describing his technical design expertise as above and beyond what would be expected.
