Managing employees’ absences can be a vexing issue for business owners and HR professionals. This seminar gives an insight into how to proactively deal with absenteeism as well as how to improve employee attendance. We will provide an overview of the legal position, together with practical tips to avoid the pitfalls of dealing with short and long term absences, how to fairly conduct a sickness absence process, and how to effectively utilise the services of occupational health in managing staff who are absent from work.
