Come and join Simon Anholt talking about The Global Vote at our US Election Special and get the chance to cast your vote whilst doing “GOOD” for Norfolk’s young people.

With the Presidential election for the United States of America confirmed to take place on 8th November, we will see the most important election of the decade that will set the tone for the global economy and affect the future of the young people of tomorrow.

Simon Anholt is an independent policy advisor who has worked to help develop and implement strategies for enhanced economic, political and cultural engagement with other countries. At this event he will be talking about theGood Country IndexandThe Global Vote

He is the founder ofGood Countryand the Good Country Index which measures what each country on earth contributes to the common good of humanity, and what it takes away, relative to its size. Good Country was launched in hisTED talkin June 2014.

In 2016 he founded the Global Vote which for the first time enables everyone in the world to vote in other countries’ elections based on what the candidate will do for the rest of humanity and the planet.

“For the first time in History anybody on earth can vote in the election of any country on earth” The Global Vote does not count in the country’s actual election but it can ascertain how other countries view what a candidate will do for the world beyond the country’s borders.

All proceeds go towards providing opportunities for young people in Norfolk.

We are using the US Election to highlight the work we do with young people in Norfolk as part ofNational Youth Work Week(7 – 13th November) as the result of the US election will have an impact on the future of young people.
