Norfolk County Council are pleased to invite local businesses to a Net Zero Conference and Lunch at Gressenhall Environment Hub near Dereham, on Tuesday 20th June from 0930 to 1300. This event aims to accelerate action on reducing carbon emissions with insights from those already on their journey to Net Zero and support for businesses just getting started. Businesses will hear How Aviva, Holkham and the Wendling Beck Environment Project have put strategy into action with nature-based climate solutions, delivering landscape-scale change here in Norfolk. A discussion panel hosted by the Norfolk Chambers of Commerce will explore the unique challenges faced by the SME community, and there will be an opportunity to take part in a Carbon Accounting and Net Zero Strategy workshop (1300 to 1430, spaces limited) delivered by sustainability specialists Triple Bottom Line Accounting. Those not taking part in the workshop can experience a guided tour of the new environmental learning and engagement hub being created at Gressenhall Museum, which aims to inspire public action on climate and biodiversity. Register here by June 14th with your name, organisation, dietary requirements and whether you would like to take part in the workshop or tour.
