Through the money you raise, you’ll help us continue to provide a lifeline for those struggling with life’s challenges.

Walkers to arrive by 4pm for coaching session with the experts. Firewalk to begin at 6pm. Event closes at 7.30pm

Founded in 1964, Norwich Samaritans has been supporting our local community and people across the country day or night, 365 days a year.

In 2023, Norwich Samaritans volunteers responded to more than 32,000 calls for help

* 29,000 calls for help by telephone

* 1,500 calls for help by email 

* 1,400 calls for help by online chat We also work with two local prisons, offer support to NHS call handlers, provide assistance at community events, and deliver talks to schools.

To keep our service running, we need to raise £100,000 annually. Norwich Samaritans is a self-funding branch, which means we do not receive financial support from the central Samaritans charity or the government. Our ability to continue operating and train new volunteers depends on generous people like you!
