This event is aimed at individuals from engineering and manufacturing companies who are considering adopting collaborative robots – cobots – within their operations. Maybe your company has not particularly considered it before? Or perhaps the benefits of cobots versus robots has not been investigated? During this session you will find out how cobots can help reduce costs, improve quality and help keep your business agile. Incorporating this technology also enables companies to release their greatest asset, their workforce, from low value repetitive tasks to allow time for more rewarding and skilled roles. Following refreshments on arrival and an overview of the benefits of adopting cobots, attendees will be guided through programming and operating the machines. Working in small groups, there will be plenty of opportunity to practice using the cobots. Invaluable experience and lots of fun too! The cost of the session is £40, with an early-bird discount of £10 available for bookings made before 15^th June. Numbers will be limited to ensure the session is of optimum value to participants. After this overarching taster event, follow-on sessions can be organised with individual businesses, with a greater focus on their particular needs and requirements.
