Book NowAdapt and diversify to attract visitors to Norfolk
There’s no doubt that the impact of coronavirus is proving extremely challenging for anyone involved in tourism.
The EXPERIENCE project team is inviting you to its first webinar to help you find ways you can adapt to the changing situation and prepare to welcome visitors back when it is safe to do so.
This might be by diversifying, extending the visitor season by offering new high-quality experiences, making your business more sustainable or focussing on being more accessible for people with additional physical or sensory requirements.
Register by midday on Friday, November 20.
This webinar will offer tips and let you know how you could benefit from being involved in the EXPERIENCE project:
- How diversification and adaptation could help your recovery plan
- Hear about a business that has already adapted to 2020 circumstances
- What is experiential tourism? How to tap into it successfully in the off-season (October-March)
- New target markets e.g. wellness
- The value of sustainability
- How making your business more accessible will attract a larger market
You’ll also be invited to:
- Tell us how EXPERIENCE can support you with free training or tools to help you adapt to the impact of coronavirus
- Sign up to our sustainable tourism networks which offer free training and events, and where you can collaborate with/learn from other organisations involved in tourism.
EXPERIENCE is a €23m project aimed at attracting visitors in the off-peak season, through a new ‘experiential tourism’ approach. See our leaflet attached or visit www.tourismexperience.org.
We will support local organisations to develop unique autumn and winter activities and experiences through training and networking. Our goal is to draw in tourists between October and March (2021/22 and 2022/23) to six areas across England and France, including Norfolk.
We’re looking for a variety of organisations in Norfolk to participate and benefit from what we can offer.
Spaces are strictly limited so register soon! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us.
