Book NowEveryone owns the right to their own creativity so knowing what’s protected in your business and what’s not is essential. Intellectual Property (IP) is any original creation that can be bought or sold. If you are a business person, an inventor, an artist or an author, IP will affect you.
In this session we’ll focus on four key areas of intellectual property: design, patent, copyright and trademark. There will be an introduction of each area with some discussion of how to recognize your IP and how best to protect it. We will then discuss some of the difficulties faced such as concepts and methodologies, with a Q&A to finish.
This is one of a series of free Spotlight bitesize business courses that are run by the BIPC Norfolk, Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library. Booking is essential.
You do not need to visit the library to attend, details of how to join this online event will be sent out nearer to the event itself.
