NAAME and New Anglia Growth Hub are providing a short half-day programme for your business to understand how it could benefit from Additive Manufacturing (AM) a.k.a. 3D Printing. Delivered in partnership with UEA and M.A.M Solutions including a tour of Productivities East Additive Manufacturing facilities.

Would you be interested in an option to have a product 3D printed for the training session? (Files and specifications will need to be provided in advance.) Please contact [email protected]

For more than two decades AM has been changing the way that we manufacture products, from rapid prototyping to full scale production. Now that these technologies have been tried and tested by some of the world’s leading industrial sectors, there is no better time to learn how 3D printing can contribute towards the growth of your business. In this session you will learn how AM could be a way to control your costs, reduce harmful emissions and increase your profitability. Whether you are looking for a rapid prototyping solution or are considering an investment in advanced manufacturing technologies, this session will increase your understanding of what are the different technologies and processes available to industry today.

What you’ll come away knowing;

· Gain valuable insight into accessing pioneering research programme and academic expertise

· Understand the grant funding landscape across the region

· Be confident you know what Additive Manufacturing (including metal) can achieve.

· Increase your awareness of the choice of equipment and technologies, and understand their current limitations.

· Find out about the potential metal materials that are available, or currently in development.

About the trainer

This session will be led by M A M Solutions, the region’s only consultancy dedicated to the advancement of metal additive manufacturing, and presented by internationally renowned expert, Dr Martin McMahon.

Dr Martin McMahon has spent the last 25 years working in the advanced manufacturing sector, and the majority of that time dedicated directly to Additive Manufacturing (AM).

During the time that, Martin has helped introduce AM to some of the UK’s leading industrial companies across Aerospace, Medical, and Energy sectors, and had a pivotal role in the success of metal AM within the F1 motorsport sector. He has developed expert knowledge and understanding of the entire end-to-end AM process chain, contributing to international standards (ASTM/ISO/SAE), and is also currently Technical Consultant, and editor, for Metal AM Magazine; the sectors leading international publication.
