SkyAngels is the only dedicated NHS patients air transfer [ PATS ] covering the whole of the United Kingdom. Our current fleet includes one HEMS equipped Agusta AW-109SP helicopter with floatation gear and two Pilatus PC-12 NGX aircraft. Planned fleet size by the end of 2023 is 7 aircraft.
We are the first air ambulance in the world to order an emergency equipped flying car which will be based at Norwich Airport, the PAL-V Liberty should be in service with us at the end of 2024 or early 2025.
Our secondary remit is international repatriations, again the only UK air ambulance charity that can operate aboard. 168 requests for help this year alone including from the Government. MOD approved supplier.
SkyAngels is also an operational partner with Global Rescue whose clients include Amazon, US Olympic team and NASA.
