Leaping Hare Renewables was founded in 2020 by Matthew and Katharine Kemp to offer high quality future proofed installations that harness innovation to provide renewable energy systems for homes and businesses in Norfolk, Suffolk and surrounding counties. We believe that we have a responsibility to make use of sustainable energy and heating solutions and we make that transition simple for our customers, bringing together a range of technologies to completely decarbonised properties.
If you don’t know the answer to that question, we have the perfect free event for you.
Eradicating Modern Slavery in Supply Chains is an in-person event in Norwich that brings together a wealth of experience of tackling modern slavery – from first-hand experience investigating the crime to eliminating it from global supply chains.
All organisations have a responsibility to eradicate modern slavery through their supply chain, and this is an area where there is more and more legislation across the world. Even if you don’t fall under the remit of the UK Modern Slavery Act, it’s likely that your customers will be accountable to a form of the legislation in countries in which they operate.
The event will feature specialist speakers to advise on, and discuss, modern slavery in Norfolk and in global supply chains. It will share practical advice for how to eliminate criminal practices from supply chains and inform attendees on what to do if they suspect there is abuse in their own supply chains.
As well as top-tier speakers, there will be a panel discussion, titled “Is the UK Modern Slavery Act Fit for Purpose?” It will provoke conversation on the impact the Act has made on UK supply chains and whether there are appropriate amendments which could be made to enhance its objectives.
This event will be interactive and will give you the opportunity to meet and network with other supply chain professionals.
Which Experts will Speak?
We are so excited to be joined by such top tier voices in the fight against modern slavery.
Our full agenda will be released closer to the time – here are our speakers:

Tom Frost, Advisor – Human Rights in Supply Chains, Slave Free Alliance
Bryn Frere-Smith, Owner, Blue Bear Coffee
Hannah Cowley, Procurement Lead – Sustainable Procurement, QinetiQ
