When local HR Consultancy “Human Capital Department” looked at options available for an e-HR platform for their existing and prospective clients, they found that there was a gap in the market for a Cloud HR solution which was user friendly, and low cost but could be tailored to meet client’s requirements.
“We believe that there is a need for an e-HR solution suited to SME’s that can be tailored to their specific organisational requirements and that is low cost and user friendly. We have got together with a software house, and our approach will be to develop one application at a time including; time management and holidays, performance management, training and development etc. and ensure that these modules are integrated and link together”.

The talk (10:10 – 11:35) will look at ‘The benefits and challenges of increased remote working in relation to police wellbeing and performance: A diary study in an English constabulary’. This diary study, and supporting qualitative insight, examines the experiences of police employees working for an English constabulary during the COVID19 crisis. Initial indications from qualitative feedback suggest that remote working was more beneficial for performance than anticipated.

The cost of domestic abuse to business is estimated at £14 billion a year ( 2019 Home Office Report), with a National social and economic cost of around £66 billion per year (January 2019).
It is obvious that domestic abuse will have a significant impact on someone’s wellbeing and in turn this will impact on the business.
This awareness session looks at what domestic abuse is, the impact it has and its complexity. We will also look at how embedding a culture of awareness and understanding around domestic abuse not only benefits an organisation itself and individuals but ripples out into the community.
Alpha Vesta CIC was founded in February 2019 by Lucy Whittaker, with a very clear foundation and mission statement of:
