Aim; To introduce the knowledge and skills required by teachers to develop and deliver programmes, provide learning support and take responsibility in managing the learning process in post-16 education

Objectives; the delegate will….. • Understand their own role, responsibilities and boundaries of role in relation to teaching, including legal requirements

• Further understand delegate differentiation; assessing learners’ abilities, needs, etc.

• Be able to use literacy/numeracy assessment tools, and embedding these functional skills

• Be able to generate an Individual Learning Plan

• Take communication skills to the next level

• Understand initial, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment

• Be able to evaluate their own performance, and develop an improvement plan

Organisation

Duration; 2 days in the classroom

Exam/Assessment; Two written assignments;

• Assignment A requires you to summarise the roles and responsibilities of a teacher. Approximately 1,200 words.

• Assignment B requires you to review a teaching session (ideally your TSP micro-teach), describe the process of developing it into a wider training course/programme, and draw up two further lesson plans, for the sessions before and after the reviewed teaching session. No word limit.

The EnvEast Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) aims to address some of the grand challenges facing contemporary society by providing excellent multidisciplinary training to a new generation of science and business leaders working in the broad field of environmental science.

M-KEN aims to bring together industry, SME, policy and NGO stakeholders with marine scientists in Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. The network hosts networking events and targeted workshops with a view to building capacity in collaborative, stakeholder relevant marine science across the Eastern region.

This new regional hub for engineering – funded by New Anglia LEP and UEA – will facilitate collaborative advancements in robotics, 3D printing and digital design for local manufacturers, businesses and Higher and Further Education students. The Institute of Productivity will work in close partnership with local manufacturers and FE colleges to share engineering facilities and collaborate on closing the engineering skills gap.

Credo Asset Finance is entering its 10th year in business with a bang by pledging to raise £10,000 for children with cancer through a number of exciting events throughout the year.

Credo is set to celebrate its 10th year in style, with a packed calendar of events, including a year-long challenge to reach 10,000km, be it on foot, two wheels or by jumping out of a plane; all in a bid to raise a phenomenal amount for their chosen charity, CLIC Sargent.

The first challenge to clock up the pounds and miles will see the Team Credo take on the white water rapids of Lee Valley Park on 27th March. We have many more events planned through the year but we need the support and generosity of the public to help us achieve our goal.
