In June 2019, after a 23-year career with the Ministry of Justice, I made the leap to join my husband, Jonathan, full-time in our family business, This Is Effective. What started as lending a hand with paperwork and cutting stickers soon became a driving passion for scaling and evolving our business.
Since then, I’ve embraced the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship—refining our processes, expanding our services, and fostering a strong team culture. Nothing beats the satisfaction of setting ambitious goals and seeing them come to life through strategy, persistence, and innovation.
Today, This Is Effective is a thriving business, providing high-quality signage, offshore inspection stickers, engraved plates and trophies, branded workwear and PPE, vehicle graphics, and more. But my passion extends beyond our own success—I’m deeply invested in helping other SME business owners navigate growth, overcome challenges, and build sustainable, profitable enterprises.
