I have over 14 years of entrepreneurial experience with my company Out of Office Events Ltd, that gives me a better understanding of brand quality and hunger to achieve targets set while being in a leadership role and having a mentoring attitude to all of the teams I work with. I also understand that business is always evolving and we have to change our methods to keep up. With my background in hospitality and event management in a variety of roles, I have gained the experience to be successful and have a proven track record of handling multiple roles and massive projects without any delays. I have had experience in working with all sectors of business and managed a wide variety of conferences, team building, awards, launches and social events with the help of my partners.
After gaining my qualifications in Glasgow & Aberdeen, I worked for AECC (Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre) in International Corporate Sales for 5 years were gained experience in the oil, gas and renewables market before moving to Norwich in 2006 where I went into hospitality and worked as Director of Sales at Dunston Hall followed by Down Hall. In 2010 I decided to go out on my own and created Out of Office Events Ltd. I have worked in a few positions alongside my company to evolve, as well as a 3 year stint in Houston, Texas, in security and regional engagement manager roles. Moving back to Norwich in 2021, my last role was for the Production Bureau as Project Manager for large medical & financial events, as well as Exhibition & Spatial Design Project Manager.
