In this session (Workplace Wellbeing) Tom Oxley, Bamboo Mental Health and Michelle Grant , Freebridge Housing will be your hosts.
You will learn:
What works – and what doesn’t in terms of workplace wellbeing? What do great leaders and managers do? And what can YOU do to help yourself and others? You’ll hear the horror stories and exemplar activities from real employers. Big brands, SMEs, sole-traders… they’re all covered. You’ll understand the cost journey of an employee who is helped by work vs an unsupported worker.
You will leave with an outline plan to improve workplace wellbeing – for ALL employers from one to ten thousand people.
3 top tips you’ll walk away with:
- Leaders, managers, HR and invidiuals all have a role to play. These roles are low/no cost.
- The cost of supporting an employee with stress/anxiety or depression is approximately ten times less than not supporting them.
- A wellbeing plan helps protect employers and employees, and improve productivity and engagement.
