You will learn: In a world where information is available at the touch of a button, Jamie Brown of Archant will talk about the how to use online advertising to get results.This will be an introduction to online marketing. How to get your business online and make it work for you. Covering;

• The local online market place.
• Online Marketing strategy for small business
• A basic guide to make sure search engines and customers can find your website.
• How to use free online tools to measure how well known your business is.

About Jamie:

I left school and having shattered any illusion of being a sporting superstar, I found myself in media sales. 15 years later I have worked on a variety of brands, some fun (TopGear) some not (MOT Workshop Magazine, Crufts Radio and The first Waterside Property Expo). What I have learned is that there is no substitute for bravery and hard work. I have project managed the launch of commercial websites, managed digital advertising campaigns and delivered direct e-marketing campaigns in B2B. In 2001 I set up and ran my own successful business as an online start up, this eventually grew to have three retail shops as well as e-commerce and traditional mail order. I am currently working for Archant as a Digital Specialist offering on-line marketing support and advertising to Local businesses.
