Enjoy a morning of networking over breakfast and hear from our guest speaker, Dr Peter Floyd. We’re delighted to have Dr Peter Floyd, co-founder and former Managing Director of Risk and Policy Analysts, with us for the morning. RPA is an independent consultancy and has built up an enviable reputation in the fields of environment, economics, chemicals, EU policy and sustainability. Based In Loddon, RPA’s main clients include the European Commission, UK Government and major international companies. They recently became an employee owned company through the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), this was not a quick process and was in fact the culmination of many years of various attempt to pass RPA into new ownership. Peter will outline his journey as well as highlighting some of the pros and cons of establishing an EOT. As well as Peter’s presentation there will also be the usual free-networking time, a networking activity, and of course a delicious breakfast all in the beautiful setting of Park Farm Hotel. Our featured charity for the morning is Norfolk Wildlife Trust, the oldest wildlife trust in the country they began after the purchase of 400 acres of marsh in 1926 which provided the blueprint for nature conservation across the UK. Norfolk Wildlife Trust now cares for over 50 nature reserves and other protected sites, has over 35,500 members, and provide education services for over 5,000 young people each year.
