‘Twas weeks before the Chamber Christmas Breakfast, when all through the workplace, Businessmen and women were stirring, have they booked a space? The decorations were hung on their computers with care, In hopes that the event soon would be there; They went home and nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of breakfast danced in their heads.

Come and join us for our most popular networking breakfast of the year!

Joined by our featured charity, Break, attendees will enjoy breakfast, networking and a range of festive themed activities to you meeting new people.

Don’t forget to dig out your best Christmas attire for our best festive dressed competition! We’ve seen everything from beard baubles to light up jumpers!

We also do a donation collection for our featured charity of gifts and supplies. This year, Break have said:

‘At Break, we are looking forward to spreading festive cheer this season, and none more so than with our young care leavers who are supported by our Moving On Team, a service that supports young people in Break’s care to make a successful transition into adulthood. The team currently supports around 70 young people. When our young people have moved on from care and are living more independently, it is rare for them to have much, if any, family time during the festive period, and particularly on Christmas day. Please support vulnerable young people in your community this Christmas to make a difference to looked after young people in and moving on from care with Break Charity.  These young people would especially like vouchers this Christmas; allowing them the freedom to buy themselves a ‘treat’ – something they so rarely are able to do for themselves.  It could be a voucher for Greggs or Costa for a lunchtime treat, or a high street voucher to buy some super new smellies.    This is powerful for them and works with our aims for our young people – to inspire and empower them to be able to make their own choices and show their own individuality.’ Any donations will be greatly appreciated, but we do ask that these do not come wrapped. Break have said: ‘We at Break are committed to providing a brighter future for the children who need us, for as long as they need us. We can provide a stable and comfortable home environment for a young person in one of our Children’s Homes, support a family in crisis with our Break Family Centre, and organise a break for a child with disabilities – a small selection of the fantastic services we offer. Whatever a child’s start in life is, we believe that with the right care there is no limit to what they can achieve.’
