Join us for our North Norfolk Co.nnect Networking Event and spend some time connecting with others while on a Nature Ramble at Kelling Heath Holiday Park, guided by Carl. Carl has a lifelong passion for nature and has worked for various wildlife and conservation charities and has appeared on both BBC and ITV news programmes. He has just retired from his role as a Countryside Ranger responsible for a large slice of the North Norfolk coast and England’s largest Grey Seal Pupping colony. Always keen to share his knowledge of the environment, Carl welcomes questions during the walks on all aspects of the Natural World. ‌ Nature Rambles look at seasonal wildlife found in the many and varied habitats of the park. Carl’s aim for all the walks is to enhance people’s knowledge of the UK’s incredible and diverse wildlife. Topics covered can include the bizarre life cycle of the dragonfly, the amazing different types of trees that grow on the park and how our special Silver Studded Blue butterfly, part of a UK wildlife re-introduction success story, is protected by an army of ants! This is an outside event so please wear appropriate footwear and clothes to suit the environment and weather. Car parking is FREE for this event.
