The Level 3 course is an alternative to IOSH Managing Safely (which we can deliver), but this HABC vesion provides more flexibility in delivery, and the security and assurance of it being Ofqual regulated. How Is It Delivered? Instead of the traditional 3-day classroom-based course, this “blended learning” is delivered primarliy through four, 2-hour live webinars. We’ll be using our traditional activities and exercises for delegates to participate in, through live demonstrations, collaborative problem-solving exercises, practical risk assessment, etc There will be some preparatory work before each session, and follow up work after, to ensure the sylabus and guided learning hours are fully covered.
How Is The Test Taken? A formal, “exam-conditions” 60-question multi-choice test is taken by each delegate, on their own computer, at a set time. An HABC invigilator observes the delegate take the test through their webcam, and the delegate has to take a video of their surroundings using a smartphone, to demonstrate that there aren’t any notes hidden out of site!
