John Dolan will be our speaker at the breakfast. John joins us from the ERSOU (Eastern Region Special Operations Unit) Counter Terrorist Police. John has worked with as a CTSA (Counter terrorism security adviser) for the past 9 years working in the field of counter terrorism both in the investigations and protective security arena. John asks “How could the business community cope with a terrorist incident? How prepared are you? What would you do if you were caught up in a terrorist incident? Would your business survive afterwards? How would your business and community react to action and affect of a terrorist incident?” This briefing will highlight the options and resources available for your businesses and the community to be better placed to mitigate the effects of an attack.
Creative Arts East will be our charity for the event and is an arts and community development charity, which focuses on engaging those communities, or their members, who face geographical, physical or other barriers to participating in the cultural life of their area.
Aims to update and requalify existing first aiders to the required level of skill and knowledge in first aid, in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Successful delegates will be awarded a certificate of competence accredited by Qualsafe Awards who are recognised by Ofqual. It is valid for three years.

The panel of speakers
Ian Couch is an Atlantic and Indian Oceans Rower, with six World Records to his name. He is the Head Safety Officer for the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge organised by Atlantic Campaigns. Ian and his father went to Langley School.
Luca Feser was part of Team HODL, who rowed across the Pacific Ocean in June 2023. They became the first ever male trio to complete the journey from Monterey, California to Hawaii and also, the fastest trio ever. Two of the three members of HODL are Langley alumni.
Julian Barnwell is a Diver and World Record Atlantic Rower. During the course of a number of years using specialist survey equipment, Julian and his brother discovered the Gloucester (1682) shipwreck off the Norfolk coast. He is a Governor at Langley School.
