Keeping Abreast is a UK charity dedicated to supporting people considering or recovering from breast reconstruction following breast cancer or risk-reducing surgery. Through peer support sessions, a Helpline, and a Buddy Service, Keeping Abreast connects people with trained volunteers who have lived experience of reconstruction, offering reassurance and understanding at a vulnerable time. The charity also provides Pink Information Packs and post-surgery Comfort and Care Bags, giving patients accessible information and practical items to support recovery.

Founded nearly 20 years ago by breast cancer nurses, Keeping Abreast works closely with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and cancer support organisations. Its services complement clinical care by offering a compassionate, community-based network of support, ensuring no one faces breast reconstruction alone.

Having worked for many practices over the years, John wanted to seek out a better, more collaborative way of working and sharing ideas.  We use simple sketches, BIM models and Virtual Reality to ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of their project, right the way through from concept to completion.  We use these tools to test our ideas and fine-tune our projects throughout the design process and into our production information.

I operate as an independent courier covering the UK, offering both general transport and specialist ADR (dangerous goods) transportation. I am fully qualified, hold all necessary insurances, and work alongside a DGSA to ensure full compliance with current regulations at all times. I also hold an Upper Tier Waste Carrier’s Licence. Praxiomatic is a SEUK-certified social enterprise that exists to rescue, revolutionise and sustain access to arts and humanities education in Norwich, using the proceeds of private tutoring, research software sales, publishing, and an array of workshops, courses, lectures and performance events to deploy an otherwise unfunded, underemployed creative-critical workforce in the service of outreach to schools and communities excluded from the official narrative of The City of Stories.
