Good Work Norfolk

Helping Norfolk businesses build stronger, more inclusive teams

Recruiting the right people, retaining valued employees, and supporting staff with health conditions or other challenges can be difficult for businesses of all sizes.

Good Work Norfolk brings together employment, health, and business support to help more people find work, stay in work, and fulfil their potential.

The initiative connects individuals, employers, and local support organisations, making it easier to find the right help, whether you’re looking to recruit, support an existing employee, or help someone take their next step into employment.

How can Good Work Norfolk help your business?

Through programmes such as Connect to Work, employers can access free, practical support to help them:

  • Reach a wider pool of potential employees.

  • Recruit and retain talented people.

  • Support employees experiencing health-related or other challenges at work.

  • Explore reasonable adjustments and develop more inclusive workplaces.

  • Access guidance, resources and specialist employment support.

How are Norfolk Chambers involved?

Norfolk Chambers of Commerce is a partner in the Good Work Norfolk campaign, working alongside Norfolk County Council, the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board and specialist local delivery partners.

Our role is to help connect Norfolk businesses with the support available, raise awareness of the benefits of inclusive employment and make it easier for employers to find practical help with recruitment, retention and workforce wellbeing.

By connecting businesses with the right expertise and support, we want to help more Norfolk employers access the talent available in our communities.
