We are Grounds Maintenance Contractors based in Norfolk. Established in 2006, we deliver grounds maintenance services across the East of England. We work with commercial clients to ensure their property’s appearance creates an impactful first impression to their site visitors, by creating and maintaining grounds that are safe and visually appealing, all year round.

We work closely with commercial clients to provide bespoke grounds maintenance schedules, depending on client requirements and site needs. Commercial sites must be safe spaces for visitors and having reliable and routine grounds maintenance services in place will ensure paths are clear, car parks are accessible, hedges do not cause obstructions to visibility and trees are healthy. We carry out litter picking on site too.

Tree Management (Arboriculture)

We  provide expert tree management services to keep trees healthy and commercial sites safe. If you need precision pruning, tree felling or safe removal of trees, we are qualified to carry out tree management, including using mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs). Our Arboriculture team all hold Level 2 chainsaw certification. The Team is also fully trained in Forestry and Emergency First Aid.

Embankment and Slope Mowing using our Remote-Controlled Mower​

Our remote-controlled mower can safely operate on embankments and slopes with a gradient of up to 55 degrees. This ensures operator safety and provides a safe solution to managing vegetation on difficult terrain.

Winter Gritting and Snow Clearance Services

Ice and snow can turn commercial properties into a hazard. We provide proactive winter gritting to commercial sites to ensure your site is safe to access when the weather temperature is low. We obtain daily weather reports from Weather Quest and schedule our gritting teams appropriately.

SafeContractor and Achilles Accreditation

We pride ourselves in holding SafeContractor Accreditation, a difficult to achieve SSIP which we have successfully obtained for the past 10 years. To obtain this accreditation, our Health & Safety, sustainability and ethical procedures and practices are rigorously audited by a third party every year, and only issued to contractors who achieve their standards. We hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, and our teams embed Health & Safety into their workplace culture. We also hold Silver Plus Achilles Membership, which gives our clients peace of mind when selecting responsible grounds maintenance contractors.

The Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA) for East Anglia provide an essential link between the military and civilian communities across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. We do this in a wide variety of ways ranging from supporting reservists employers, managing and maintaining our reserve and cadet sites in the region, encouraging recruiting and liaising with a wide range of local communities, MPs and councils.

We aim to be an enduring and essential pillar in the delivery of support for the well-being of the Reserves and Cadets and, through our effectiveness and our position in the regions, to be the independent body that represents their interests and promotes understanding between the Armed Forces and Civil society.

In order to maintain effective links with the community, the Association has a broad base of volunteer members drawn from former officers of all three services and cadet forces, representatives from local authorities, local business communities, trade unions and industry

We support families and provide all-encompassing care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Norfolk, as well as Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex. The Nook, set in beautiful grounds in the village of Framingham Earl, near Norwich, was opened by our Royal Patron, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge in November 2019. We also have two other hospices – The Treehouse, in Ipswich, and EACH Milton, outside Cambridge.

We are there for families in their hour of need – a lifeline at the most unimaginably hard times. They feel safe and comfortable, spending precious time together and creating memories that last forever. Our aim is to ensure the best quality of life for the children in our care.

This is thanks to the amazing work, knowledge and expertise of our specialist team, including nurses, counsellors, care assistants, play specialists, music therapists, art therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a family therapist, chaplains, chefs and housekeeping staff.

We pride ourselves on our family-centred approach, caring not only for children and young people but also their parents, carers, brothers, sisters, grandparents and sometimes friends. Among other things, they benefit from:

• Care at end of life
• Bereavement support and counselling

Families also have flexibility and control over where they receive their care and support, including where their child dies. More than half the care and support we provide is delivered in the family home and community.

We are recognised as leaders in our field, with a reputation for excellence and commitment to pioneering development, but we provide our specialist medical and emotional support completely free of charge.

We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income and this year need to raise £7.5 million from donations and fundraising, and a further £8.7 million in retail income. The more we raise, the bigger difference we can make to local children and their families.
