We offer both Full-time and Executive Part-time MBA courses that fit around your career plan, starting in January 2016.
In addition to the core MBA modules our MBA students have the opportunity to study one of two subject areas where the University has established a world-class reputation: Brand Leadership and Economics and Finance. Included within the elective choices, you can choose to explore how climate change and energy management are now at the core of building sustainable business in the 21st Century, or how brands are shaping our perceptions of what modern businesses represent – both as consumers and in an economic sense.
In partnership with the Institute of Food Research we are launching a Food Industry stream for the Executive Part-time MBA, starting in January 2016, looking at how issues such global supply chain management and consumer buying behaviour are shaping this critical sector.

Staff wellbeing and the issue of mental health is increasingly important in business and the Norse Group is pleased to offer accredited Mental Health First Aid training for the staff of Chamber members in February at our bespoke training centre in Norwich.
A Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training course teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. The programme explores mental health, dispels myths, and most importantly gives candidates the tools to have conversations about mental health and support colleagues to seek help. MHFA will not teach someone to be a therapist, but it will teach delegates to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis – and potentially stop a crisis from developing. Delegates learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health, and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone in a safe way. The programme is MHFA England accredited and delegates receive valuable resource materials and workbooks. Qualified MHFA trainer Mark Surridge is running an open programme in Norwich on 18 and 19 February and a limited number of spaces are available at £270 each, which is £30 lower than the MHFA recommended rate. A recent delegate from Leathes-Prior commented: “Mark was an excellent trainer. He was incredibly engaging and clearly very passionate about the area.”

The world’s number one Smiths tribute present another loving homage to the band. This time they focus on, and perform all of, ‘Meat is Murder’ as it hits its 35th anniversary in 2020.
The band will perform a 2 set show in which all of the tracks from the album will be played live alongside a selection of other classic Smiths hits and other favourites.
Sample Videos
The Smyths formed back in 2003 because of their passion for The Smiths. They didn’t just want to be a tribute band – They wanted to play the music of The Smiths and recreate what is was to see and hear The Smiths live – it just happens that when you do that, the world calls you a tribute. For them that was a world of silly wigs and props – everything they felt a homage to The Smiths shouldn’t be. So they spent a year rehearsing every week to make sure that when they launched they sounded genuine – The Smiths and their fans (like them) demand nothing less. The band focussed on the sound and spirit of The Smiths live.
Fast forward 11 years and some 500 shows later and they see and hear themselves now spoken of as being in the top tier of tributes globally. The years in between have seen them play throughout the UK, overseas and at major festivals such as Glastonbury. They’ve appeared on numerous TV and radio shows and many a newspaper column written. The word tribute has also developed and grown in respect in that time, coming to represent something that is not silly or trite but the best way to see and experience the music of bands no longer with them played by artists who are as passionate and dedicated to their shows as actors and actresses.
