Preserving Company Culture During COVID-19
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and with many of us working from home, company culture for many organisations is being tested. Although we are starting to adapt to new ways of working and communicating remotely it doesn’t mean company culture needs fall by the wayside. Concentrate on building a culture which embraces change, recognises the new challenges facing employees and encourages them to do things differently to support the current shifts and drive productivity. The culture they have at Indigo Swan is one of individuality and positivity – something they are very proud of. Since the start of the lockdown, Indigo Swan knew how important it was to make sure they found new methods to support, encourage and motivate each other. During this session, James Groves, Managing Director of Indigo Swan, will cover some of the ways they have been preserving their company culture, a few of the challenges they have faced and what it might look like on the other side.
Guest Speaker
James Groves, Indigo Swan
James Groves has been at Indigo Swan for 10 years and is an original member of the team. From sales to new business and now Managing Director, James has played in key role in the growth of the business, the creation of the vision, values and culture and was proud to be a finalist for Director of the Year at the EDP Business Awards in 2019. James always looks to care for the Swans on a personal level whilst looking to challenge them, to be the very best versions of themselves. James lives the happiness first value of Indigo Swan and gave a TEDx Talk in 2019 about how James and Indigo Swan have an unflinching commitment to finding a better way, by learning from their mistakes and living and breathing their culture daily (at home or in the office!). James is passionate about good business and wants to continue to help shine a light on business in Norfolk, through the Energy Sector and beyond.
