This two-day
qualification is designed for supervisors, managers, and team leaders
responsible for staff wellbeing who want the confidence and skills to respond
appropriately to mental health concerns at work.
Poor mental health culture contributes to sickness absence, reduced
productivity, higher staff turnover, and avoidable conflict. This course
supports a proactive approach by helping supervisors recognise concerns
early, have safer conversations, and support staff before issues escalate.
Participants gain a practical understanding of common mental health
conditions and crisis situations, learn how to spot early warning signs,
and develop confidence in having sensitive conversations — including asking
difficult questions around self-harm and suicide — while maintaining clear
professional boundaries.
Training is delivered by an experienced NHS doctor using realistic,
experience-led scenarios grounded in frontline clinical practice. Delivered
in association with NUCO Training, this Ofqual-regulated, HSE-compliant
qualification is usually delivered online, with in-person delivery
available on request.
Group discounts and on-site courses are available. Please contact
