The role of the supervisor is changing and what this role is (or what people think it is) can be unclear at times. This workshop is for anyone who already supervisors a team or a team leader who wants to freshen up their skills. The programme of staged investment will help turn the 115 miles of the A47 into a genuine strategic link.
Government has committed to investment of over £300m for improvements along the A47 for delivery in the early 2020’s. The A47 Alliance’s ultimate goal is full dualling with appropriate grade separation (bridges and flyovers), we will continue to push government to deliver this in the longer term. The estimated cost of a fully dualled A47 is £1.4bn. With a combination of selected improvements, within 20 years there will be 16,890 more jobs in the area, 10,585 new dwellings and an increase of £706m per annum in the economic output (GVA). As a result of this course, users can expect to be able to design and create tables to store their data and to specify what data is appropriate, as well as choosing how each table should be linked to the others in the database. As well as the basics, it will look in more depth at relationships, and focus on more advanced queries, allowing the user to create a more complete business or personal database. Additionally, they will have learnt how to extract the required data using a combination of queries and filtering. We will also look at Access Forms and Reports to enable users to print, read and enter their data in a user-friendly format. Delegates should have sufficient Windows experience beforehand and by the end of the course you will be more comfortable in designing and implementing a finished relational database. The Super Bowl Challenge continues to be one of our busiest events and this year will be no exception – we’re taking up all the lanes at Namco Norwich for our annual bowl off. Whether you want to strengthen the connections in a team of your colleagues, or join forces with other Chamber members, this evening event offers a fun, relaxed environment to get your businesses name out there and show off your skills on the lanes.
