Poultec Training launches new project management and quality improvement apprenticeships for employers
Poultec Training has expanded its apprenticeship offer with
the launch of two new funded programmes designed to help employers develop
skills in project delivery, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The new routes include the Level 4 Associate Project
Manager Apprenticeship and the Level 4 Quality Practitioner
Apprenticeship.
Both programmes are available for new or existing employees
and can support businesses looking to strengthen capability within their teams,
improve processes and develop staff who are ready to take on more
responsibility.
The launch comes at a time when many employers are reviewing
how they build skills internally, retain valued staff, and support workforce
development across their organisation.
Supporting project delivery
The Level
4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship is designed for employees
who help plan, organise and deliver projects within a business. It can support
staff involved in operational projects, process improvement, business change,
project coordination or wider service development.
The apprenticeship helps learners develop skills in project
planning, stakeholder communication, progress monitoring, risk and change
management, budgeting, and supporting successful project outcomes.
For employers, it provides a structured way to develop staff
who can contribute to projects more effectively and support improvements across
the business.
Strengthening quality and improvement
The Level
4 Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship is aimed at staff involved in
quality, compliance, audits, operations or continuous improvement. It can
support employees who contribute to quality planning, quality assurance,
quality control and improvement activity within their area of responsibility.
The programme supports skills in quality planning, audits,
root cause analysis, non-conformances, customer requirements, data analysis and
continuous improvement.
For employers, this can help strengthen standards, reduce
recurring issues, improve processes and support a culture of quality across the
organisation.
Developing existing staff
These apprenticeships can be used to develop existing
employees keen to progress within the company and take on new responsibilities,
while gaining new knowledge, skills and behaviours. This makes them a useful
option for businesses looking to upskill team members, create progression
routes, and support staff retention.
Apprenticeship funding may also be available, subject to
eligibility. Non-levy paying employers could receive 95% to 100% government
funding towards apprenticeship training costs, while levy-paying employers can
use their apprenticeship levy funds for apprenticeship training and assessment.
Poultec Training supports employers with funding guidance,
enrolment, learner support and apprenticeship delivery shaped around workplace
needs.
Ben Gaskins, Head of Business Development at Poultec
Training, said:
“Many businesses already have talented people in their teams
who are keen to development, but they need the right structure and support to
take the next step.
“These new apprenticeships give employers a practical way to
build project management, quality and improvement skills around real workplace
needs. They can support operational performance while giving employees a clear
development route.”
