M+A Partners Welcomes 2026 Trainee Intake
Six new trainees have started with M+A Partners as part of the firm’s 2026 intake, continuing its annual programme for school leavers and graduates. The firm has also appointed a new Audit Assistant Manager, as it continues to invest in people at all stages of their careers.
The trainees have already taken part in a range of onboarding activities designed to introduce them to the firm and the teams they will be working with, helping them to settle in and feel part of M+A Partners from the outset.
Beth Phelps, Mahad Afridi, Oliver Means and Pippa Trenchard are based in the firm’s Norwich office, while Max Tomkins is part of the Cromer team. Jake Hart will complete the 2026 intake when he starts with the firm in October.
The trainee programme offers opportunities to work across M+A Partners’ accounts, audit and tax teams, combining practical experience with the development of technical knowledge. It provides a strong foundation for working towards professional qualifications and building a long-term career within a chosen area.
In addition to the new trainees, Harry Keeler joins as Audit Assistant Manager. With a particular interest in Audit Data Analytics (ADA), Harry is keen to explore how technology and data can be used to enhance audit quality and effectiveness. He will work as part of a dedicated team supporting organisations of varying sizes with their audit and assurance needs.
Chief Operating Officer Phil Webster commented:
“We are pleased to welcome our new trainees to M+A Partners. Each brings different experiences and skills to the firm, and it is great to once again have such a high calibre of students joining us.
“We are proud of our trainee programme and the opportunities it provides individuals to develop their skills, gain professional qualifications and build their careers within the firm.
“Harry also brings valuable experience and a particular interest in how data analysis can support the audit process. As the firm continues to evolve, bringing together a breadth of knowledge and experience is an important part of developing our teams and the way we work.
“We look forward to seeing the contribution our new colleagues will make and wish them every success in their new roles as part of the M+A team.”
Applications for M+A Partners’ 2027 trainee intake are now open and close on 12 October 2026. Further information about the programme is available on the M+A Partners’ website, including our M+A Careers podcast series, with helpful insights and tips for future train
