Join me for an informal networking walk around Whitlingham Great Broad. Whether you join for 1 or 2 laps, walk and catch-up with, or meet, fellow like minded members of the business community.
All proceeds from tickets will go to the Norwich CityCommunity Sports Foundation (CSF) as I fundraise for them this year whilst walking 1,500 miles – going “MaDforCSF“.
Car parking is free on Whitlingham Lane, or Pay & Display (not included) at the car parks next to Flint Barn.
Come join us for a fun networking event while trying out the classic game of Lazer Quest (Qasar) – raising funds for Break Charity.
The ‘Give It A Go’ networking is back at Qasar – due to popular demand.
We have the space for 2 hours, so a bit of networking and lots of gameplay.
Quasar Norwich is a multi-level indoor laser tag arena located on St Stephens Road (close to Iceland and old Marsh building).
It features a 5,000 sq ft arena and a cafe – which will be open for refreshments.
All funds will be going towards my London Marathon fundraising page for Break Charity – in collaboration with Contract Personnel.
If you have not played Qasar before, it is quite dark inside (but the arena is illuminated) and you put on a pack and hold a gun whilst shooting each other’s target packs to get points!
It is VERY VERY FUN!
You can now park directly opposite in what was the old Marsh Building car park, or Chantry Place is also close by.
NETWORKING POWER HOUR with Mark White from The LinkedIn Professional who will lead our April virtual networking event!
LinkedIn can sometimes feel like a place that doesn’t reflect where we would like to be. We often don’t get shown posts we want to read, we struggle to find things that we do, we aren’t always talking to the people we like to, or not managing to guide people to the resources we want them to see. Mark will share with us how the settings can be our friend, where we can create our own listening groups, and how to find the people we want to talk to and be heard by. We will find out how we can make LinkedIn somewhere that will help rather than stress us, and also how we might help each other within Buy Local Norfolk.
Visit our website to find out more, and to book your place.
Cromer Pier: The jewel of the North Norfolk Coast. The famous Cromer Pier is a Grade II listed, 151 metre long traditional Victorian pier and award winning “Pier of the Year” in 2024. And that’s where our networking is taking us – into the theatre of the pier. This two-day
qualification is designed for supervisors, managers, and team leaders
responsible for staff wellbeing who want the confidence and skills to respond
appropriately to mental health concerns at work.
Poor mental health culture contributes to sickness absence, reduced
productivity, higher staff turnover, and avoidable conflict. This course
supports a proactive approach by helping supervisors recognise concerns
early, have safer conversations, and support staff before issues escalate.
Participants gain a practical understanding of common mental health
conditions and crisis situations, learn how to spot early warning signs,
and develop confidence in having sensitive conversations — including asking
difficult questions around self-harm and suicide — while maintaining clear
professional boundaries.
Training is delivered by an experienced NHS doctor using realistic,
experience-led scenarios grounded in frontline clinical practice. Delivered
in association with NUCO Training, this Ofqual-regulated, HSE-compliant
qualification is usually delivered online, with in-person delivery
available on request.
Group discounts and on-site courses are available. Please contact
