Sologic & RedCat have teamed up to offer you a free seminar on Root Cause Analysis;
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) uses logic to analyse the cause-and-effect relationships of an event or situation. Increasingly RCA is found to be integral to professional discipline and industry sector standards, understanding and applying RCA is regarded an indicator of best practice. In addition, many contracting organisations will now have RCA as key criteria in their tender requirements.
What is Root Cause Analysis?
Root Cause Analysis is performed to find solutions that ensure undesirable events do not happen again. It can also be used to develop understanding of success in order to replicate contributing factors or to create scenarios to understand future events i.e. what might stand in the way of winning a tender. Whether a company faces a problem, needs to improve, or is striving to achieve a goal, Sologic RCA is a proven, powerful tool.
Root Cause Analysis is a universal and scalable process widely adopted in many industry sectors including Health & Safety, Manufacturing, I.T, HR, Supply Chain, Oil & Gas, Wind Energy, Haulage and Engineering amongst others.
This free 3-hour seminar is an introduction to Root Cause Analysis, raising awareness of benefits and outlining the process of an effective RCA. This seminar will:
· Establish the role of RCA in Problem Management
· Examine the problem definition process
· Clarify the benefits of an effective RCA process
· Demonstrate RCA analysis using a visual method of charting
· Explore how RCA analysis can generate targeted solutions
· Introduce a simple method of reporting through the use of Sologic software

BUSINESS SUMMIT Friday 2nd March, Diss Golf Club 9am-midday Chaired by Richard Bacon, MP
Seven parishes are working together to lead development of a Neighbourhood Plan for Diss and the surrounding Area ;
Creative and forward-thinking solutions are required to solve key issues affecting all of us;
Our Neighbourhood Plan is probably unique – requiring South Norfolk, Mid Suffolk, Norfolk and Suffolk councils to work together in new ways;
An opportunity to tackle the ‘Twilight Zone’ where Diss and north Suffolk lose out on the investment that delivers growth and strong communities.
Your opportunity to influence the future growth of the Diss & District Area for the next 15+ years.
We need to take a strategic approach by promoting business and the local economy as the key economic driver in the Plan, alongside an appropriately skilled workforce and housing, services and infrastructure.
This Business Summit is part of a wider public consultation running until 16th March, where every address in the seven parishes – home or business – should receive an explanatory brochure and questionnaire.
‘YOUR OPPORTUNITY – YOUR VOICE – YOUR PLAN’ BY WORKING TOGETHER WE CAN ACHIEVE SO MUCH MORE
Places at the Business Summit are limited. To book please e-mail [email protected] with your details by Friday 23rd February, putting ‘Business Summit’ in the subject line.
One of the highlights of our month is when our members get together to share business ideas and news, as nothing beats meeting face to face.
Hence we have complimentary monthly meetings for Business Growth Club members and guests, which run for two hours starting at 8am with free tea and coffee too!
We normally have between 20 – 30 members attending and I compile an agenda which ensures we have information packed meetings, entirely relevant to micro and small business owners.
Our meeting in March will focus on Moments of Truth – being every contact with the outside world, and how we ensure we have a sales process that works, plus our normal look at best and worst practice and a few rants along the way!
A great opportunity to network with like minded small business owners too.
If you want to come along, just call Neil on 01603 443355 or email [email protected]
