Now that the deadline is looming for making a full declaration for EU imports that arrived after 31/12/20, businesses need to get ready to declare. This webinar will provide the answers.
What records should you have kept?
What do traders need to do now?
How do you make sure you follow the rules?
What penalties could be imposed if you get it wrong?
We’ll also have an expert from HMRC on hand to answer your questions directly.
If you have imported from the EU since January, this webinar will help you to understand your responsibilities and if you’re on track to start making full declarations from 1st July. Join us to find out those all important answers to help your business stay ahead.

A love of the water, a chilled sundowner and a good old natter is what brought Liz and Katie together and has helped shape what Go Paddle is all about. Their paths to getting here have been wildly different but getting to meet new folk and share the pretty awesome Norfolk Broads by paddle is now what they do best.
What to wear
• As a general rule we say to dress for the weather. Quick drying clothes are the best (and avoid cottons/jeans as they can be uncomfortable when wet) If its chilly we have a small selection of wetsuits for hire. If you have your own wetsuit/rash vests – then bring them. • For your feet we suggest old footwear (ideally flip flops) to wear on the riverside.
*We are doing everything we can to bring you this event in August by following government COVID guidelines. However, due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic we may have to cancel this event at short notice if circumstances arise that are out of our control. Please also note that this event will be postponed should we have extremely bad weather conditions which will make this activity unsafe.
Meet the Neighbours, No Borders Networking Event with Norfolk Chambers of Commerce, Suffolk Chambers of Commerce and Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce
Business does not recognise borders, especially since virtual working, so why should we?
Joining forces with neighbouring Chambers in this structured networking session is designed to forge new business relationships across county boundaries and maximise your opportunity to build your network.
The event will take the following format;
A quick introduction from each of the Chambers followed by 3 x 15-minute breakout rooms where each person gets 30-60 seconds to speak to the breakout rooms
In between each of the 3 x breakout rooms, you will come back to the main session, where we will draw a member name from each Chamber who will get the chance to talk about their business to all attendees at the event.
This is a fantastic opportunity to network and chat with other businesses and find out more about neighbouring counties.
Please note places are limited and available for Chamber members only.
Who is it for?
Business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, young businesses and anyone who wants to connect and engage with other businesses in the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire area.
Due to this event being for members only, it has been set up for manual approval, so event details will be received shortly after registering rather than immediately.
Norfolk Chambers of Commerce are handling the registrations and data for this event.

Network with local businesses, make new connections and explore the great outdoors – perfect for wellbeing. Many of you have told us that you cannot wait to get back to meeting people face-to-face again and we have listened. We are working on a series of small, social distanced in person netwalking events*, where you can get outside and start meeting new people in real life! This exclusive netwalking event is one of a few we are hosting over the summer. With your wellbeing a priority more than ever before, what better way to give it a boost than by spending time outside in the fresh air, networking with fellow business professionals at the beautiful Blickling Estate (and getting those important steps in)! Stuart Banks is the countryside manager at Blickling, coming to the estate having spent 10 years managing woodlands and other sites across the Essex coast and countryside. He is passionate about trees and helping people to understand trees and what they can do to appreciate and safeguard the survival of trees. Stuart says “We’ll take a look at what makes a tree a veteran, why veteran trees are so important and what we’re doing at Blickling to understand and value our veteran tree population. The walk will introduce you to some of the largest and oldest trees (of their species) in the UK and several trees of national importance as well as discussing the beauty and importance of decay. It’s a great way to develop or begin an interest in woodlands, or just to have a lovely stroll through a beautiful estate”. About Blickling Estate Blickling is well renowned as a heritage site, famous for its stunning Jacobean mansion house and tranquil gardens. In recent years the team have been delving into the significance of the wider estate and parkland, partly to better understand the collection of ancient and veteran trees. Recent surveys have identified around 800 trees in the park which are of veteran status and possibly as many as 2,000 across the 4,600 acres that comprise the estate. It’s a walk for anyone who likes (or who has even a passing appreciation of) trees, as well as those who value fresh air and spending time in the presence of giants. National Trust protects and cares for places so people and nature can thrive. As a charity they look after hundreds of houses and close to a million objects, along with vast areas of coastline, countryside and green spaces for the benefit of all. Who is it for? Business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, young businesses and anyone who wants to connect and engage with other businesses in the Norfolk area. Cancellation policy We only have a maximum of 25 places on this walk. Please notify us if you are no longer able to attend in writing to [email protected] Please note that no refunds will be offered if you cancel after Wednesday 11 August . Agenda Please arrive earlier to allow for parking and walking to the meeting place – parking is included in the cost of the ticket. 11:00 – Welcome and briefing (15-minutes) 11:15 – Networking on the walk 13:00 – Close** **You will be provided with tea/coffee/water and cake as part of the ticket price. If you wish to purchase lunch at the café or bring a small picnic with you to have with your cake then please feel free to do so.
