Seven parishes are working together to lead development of a Neighbourhood Plan for Diss and the surrounding Area ;

• Creative and forward-thinking solutions are required to solve key issues affecting all of us;
• Our Neighbourhood Plan is probably unique – requiring South Norfolk, Mid Suffolk, Norfolk and Suffolk councils to work together in new ways;
• An opportunity to tackle the ‘Twilight Zone’ where Diss and north Suffolk lose out on the investment that delivers growth and strong communities.

We need to take a strategic approach by promoting business and the local economy as the key economic driver in the Plan, alongside an appropriately skilled workforce and housing, services and infrastructure.

This Business Summit is part of a wider public consultation running until 16th March, where every address in the seven parishes – home or business – should receive an explanatory brochure and questionnaire.
