We are specialists in innovation, incubation and scale up space and have supported over 800 businesses to grow through the space and support services we offer. We build and create clusters, creating networks that stimulate localised economic development. We run three successful innovation sites in Norfolk: Hethel Engineering Centre, Scottow Enterprise Park, and Broadland Food Innovation Centre, and we support over 150 current members.

HiBreeds was established to specialise in the export of broiler hatching eggs from the UK and continental Europe. We bring together more than 30 years of experience in the poultry industry, with unique quality production.

Broiler breeding in the United Kingdom is recognised worldwide for its excellent quality and health status. The benefits of British hatching egg and chick production in a temperate climate secures the best source for your hatching egg requirements.

HiBreeds uses only the leading strains of poultry breeding stock where extensive investment in genetic selection and ongoing biosecurity are routine. Therefore, integrators can expect high yielding broiler production on a regular, secure and long term basis. Our efficient team is experienced in providing customers with export documents and dealing with Documentary Letters of Credit in conjunction with producers, DEFRA and the banks.

Operating seven days a week, HiBreeds maintains constant contact between the farmer, airline, customer and bank to ensure the safe arrival of millions of eggs each year.

Hoggies is run by husband and wife team Jamie and Kat. Supported by a team of family members, we are a local, independent, truly family run Hog Roast and Barbecue Company, providing a friendly and professional catering service to every event. Whether it is a Wedding, birthday, staff party or any other occasion. Where possible, everything is homemade, including our gorgeous vegetarian and vegan options for all the non-meat lovers.

What we do:

We pride ourselves in providing top quality meat, all provided locally from our friends over at Clarkes Butchery & Farm Kitchen, another family run business in the heart of Norfolk. Our friendly team are all trained in preparing, cooking, carving, and serving, leaving you with great tasting food without the hassle and to ensure your event is a complete success.

In our rustic packages we use palm leaf plates, wooden cutlery and paper serviettes which are all bio degradable and sustainably sourced for an eco-friendly approach to mouth-watering food. 

Our passion: 

Kat is especially passionate about our wedding catering. After all, your wedding day is one of, if not THE most important day of your life and should be remembered for all the right reasons. Our wedding bookings benefit from additional services which are not included in a standard party booking. These include cake cutting and personalised services from the owners where we ask for details of your colour scheme so we can decorate our service area to tie in with your theme. We also like to meet with you in person to go through the details of the day and make sure we have everything planned perfectly for you.

No event is too small or too big so with Hoggies as your caterer, you can leave all the hard work to us. Everything can be cooked from within our own gazebo so no fuss guaranteed.

Norwich Airport hotel with an indoor pool

Five minutes’ walk from Norwich International Airport, Holiday Inn® Norwich – North hotel is 15 minutes’ drive from the city centre. Alternatively, leave the car in the hotel car park, where parking is available for a small fee, and walk to the nearby Park and Ride stop for a bus into town, where Norwich station is served by direct trains to London. Park, Stay & Go packages are available.

The 12th-century Norwich Cathedral, with its soaring spire, and the masterpieces at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts are both 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel. The Norfolk Broads’ rivers and lakes are a 45-minute drive away. An hour from the hotel, enjoy a tour of the royal Sandringham Estate’s grand country house and vast gardens.

Business guests are a 20-minute drive from Broadland Business Park. At the hotel, seven flexible spaces, including an event suite with a state-of-the-art light show, can host functions for up to 600 people theatre-style. Audiovisual equipment free Wi-Fi is available.

With one in two people sadly developing some form of cancer in their lifetime, thousands of people receive a diagnosis daily, which will turn their world upside down.

When you’re faced with a cancer diagnosis, time becomes crucial. How can people spend more time doing the things they love, whilst still getting the life-saving treatment they need?

We care about the lives of cancer patients and have made it our mission to make a difference to the way their cancer treatment is delivered. Our mobile cancer care units help patients to fit treatment into their lives, not the other way round.

Our fleet of mobile cancer care units travel into the heart of communities, and by working closely with the NHS Trusts throughout the country, we work together to help as many people as possible.

Once partnered with a NHS Trust, Hope for Tomorrow fundraise to pay for the build and maintenance of a unit, whilst the NHS Trusts provide the staff, drivers and medication. It costs approximately £77,000 to run one unit for a year, helping on average 4,000 patients. Last year we delivered over 26,000 cancer care treatments to cancer patients across England, who needed our support.

Our units park in large accessible and convenient spaces like supermarket or community centre car parks, closer to patients’ homes or workplaces. This means patients don’t have to travel lengthy distances to receive their treatment and can save money and time – time to do the things they want to do, leading a life outside of cancer.

Patients receive the same exceptional care onboard a unit, just as they would in hospital but most importantly, it’s a more relaxing and homely environment. Because of the less clinical and stress-free atmosphere onboard a unit, patients have told us they are able to tolerate their treatments better.

Hope for Tomorrow don’t receive any government funding for our units and instead we rely on the generosity of our local communities to support us. It costs £212 per day to keep one of our mobile cancer care units on the road, helping on average 20 patients per day.
