The college was founded in 1891 to provide technical training and moved from the city centre to its main site on Ipswich Road in the 1950s. This remains our largest site, with provision ranging from school leavers to degree-level studies. Having merged with both Paston College and Easton College, and with a Higher Education Centre in the heart of Norwich, the college continues to serve the communities of Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond offering A Levels, T Levels, career-focussed courses, Apprenticeships, adult education, ESOL courses, degrees and university-level study. BUILD is a Norfolk based independent registered charity providing social, leisure and learning opportunities to anyone, with any disability, aged 18 or over in Norfolk.
Established in Norwich 1967, The BUILD Charity provides a wide range of integrated community-based activities across Norfolk, with opportunities to take part in social clubs, gardening, outdoor and cultural activities as well as skills learning workshops. BUILD does not provide medical or personal care but welcomes people who want to use its services to bring that care with them.
We support people with disabilities to enjoy the kind of social life that most of us take for granted through a programme based on informed choice delivered mostly by trained volunteers and co-ordinated by a small professional team of paid staff. Our activities are arranged in a three-monthly programme and make up around 300 activities every year.

Great Yarmouth Racecourse and Conference Centre is the epicentre of our community on the East Coast of Norfolk.
We’re responsible for holding more than 20 Flat racing fixtures each year headed by the three-day Easter Festival in September, a meeting headlined by the lucrative Sir John Musker Stakes. Other highlights include Ladies’ Night – a must-have date in the diary for July – as well as the Free Residents Night at the end of June.
