As a Grants Assessor for charity and public sector funded projects, I work across the UK supporting funders to choose where best to focus their funding. I am reliable, thorough and consistent and also super friendly! I understand how important it is to assess projects with compassion and care whilst ensuring funding is directed to the right causes.
City College Norwich is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and our provision for learners with high needs is rated ‘Outstanding’.
Our college is one of the largest in East Anglia and we have a diverse team of over one thousand full and part time staff in a range of teaching and student support roles and business support services.
The way we work together and with our students is really important to us. Our Ways of Working help us work and learn together with respect, where an inclusive approach means that everyone is valued for their contribution to our community.
As a college we are always looking to develop partnerships in our community, working with businesses and industry leaders to shape our curriculum and support our students with industry placements.
We can also support employers with talent recruitment and upskilling through our range of degree-level courses, professional development courses and skills bootcamps.
City College Norwich has a long and distinguished history in serving the people of Norwich and Norfolk. The college was founded in 1891 to provide technical training and moved from the city centre to its main site on Ipswich Road in the 1950s. This remains our largest site, with provision ranging from school leavers to degree-level studies.
Having merged with both Paston College and Easton College, and with a Higher Education Centre in the heart of Norwich, the college continues to serve the communities of Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond offering A Levels, T Levels, career-focussed courses, Apprenticeships, adult education, ESOL courses, degrees and university-level study.
Our mission is to “change Norfolk through learning.”

Thick, healthy Bull Pizzles are our flagship product and make for an ultra-tasty, satisfying and long-lasting dog chew. They provide exceptional flavour and satisfaction for dogs while helping to prevent gum disease by removing plaque.
Not only are they a 100% natural product, but they’re packed with amino acids, vitamins, trace elements and are free from artificial chemicals, additives and preservatives. Our ultra-grade pizzle sticks are suitable for dogs of any breed, age or size and they provide the same protein and dental health benefits for puppies as they do for adult dogs. Our pizzles are single-ingredient, easily digestible treats made from the highest quality pure grass fed and hormone-free beef. They excel at cleaning dogs teeth while keeping them entertained and they won’t splinter or break apart. The majority of the bully sticks being sold in the UK are made in South Asia where there are very different standards and health regulations to here in the UK, and there is often no safe or controlled monitoring of the manufacturing process. Our pizzle sticks are hand made with love in small batches to strict EU Regulations 142/2011 and 1069/2009 in pristine veterinary inspected and certified premises and exceed each and every health requirement. The quality of our pizzles is both exceptional and consistent. They are safe, they are healthy, they are free of pathogens such as Salmonella, Campylobacter, E.Coli and we stand behind them 100%. We’re raising the bar and redefining expectations by introducing an exciting new range of the very highest quality bull pizzles to the UK which exceed all others in every possible way.

BUILD is a Norfolk based independent registered charity providing social, leisure and learning opportunities to anyone, with any disability, aged 18 or over in Norfolk.
Established in Norwich 1967, The BUILD Charity provides a wide range of integrated community-based activities across Norfolk, with opportunities to take part in social clubs, gardening, outdoor and cultural activities as well as skills learning workshops. BUILD does not provide medical or personal care but welcomes people who want to use its services to bring that care with them.
We support people with disabilities to enjoy the kind of social life that most of us take for granted through a programme based on informed choice delivered mostly by trained volunteers and co-ordinated by a small professional team of paid staff. Our activities are arranged in a three-monthly programme and make up around 300 activities every year.
We employ a small, but highly skilled staff team (4) and rely on a fantastic team of volunteers (80) around 15% of whom are people with disabilities themselves providing peer support. To find out more about volunteering with the BUILD Charity visit https://www.buildcharity.co.uk/volunteering
We receive no public funding for our services and are reliant on grants from other charitable trusts, local fundraising, private and corporate gifts but are always keen to engage in mutually beneficial partnerships with our funders so there is a Win/Win to any arrangement. Great Yarmouth Racecourse and Conference Centre is the epicentre of our community on the East Coast of Norfolk.
We’re responsible for holding more than 20 Flat racing fixtures each year headed by the three-day Easter Festival in September, a meeting headlined by the lucrative Sir John Musker Stakes. Other highlights include Ladies’ Night – a must-have date in the diary for July – as well as the Free Residents Night at the end of June.
Race sponsorship offers local businesses not only a wonderful opportunity to showcase what they do; it also acts a lucrative platform to entertain both existing and new clients.
Great Yarmouth Racecourse also operates as a bespoke venue for meetings, conferences and social events to suit all needs.
Do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss options for this year.
