Voluntary Norfolk works with people to improve lives and strengthen communities across the county, not only through volunteering but also through the various services we provide and partnerships we participate in.
Voluntary Norfolk is involved in many projects spanning the breadth of the county:
We recruit, train and support hundreds of volunteers across the county, providing much needed support to the NHS.
We are supporting people when they need help the most through our work with carers, especially young carers.
- We are leading new initiatives that enable communities to thrive, such as through Freshly Greated (our community arts venture in Great Yarmouth).
- We are there strengthening the VCSE sector by providing training, good practice workshops and help recruiting volunteers to charities across the county and work closely with other organisations, such as through the Empowering Communities Partnership, to maximise the benefits we offer.
We remain committed to building stronger communities through volunteering and supporting the Voluntary sector. Our online platform helps to ensure volunteering is made as easy as possible for people to sign up.
