After seven years as an occupational therapist, including as a senior OT at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital through the pandemic, Ollie has swapped healthcare for wealth management, joining Chadwicks as a trainee adviser. It’s a change of career he says he has “no regrets” about.
As Ollie puts it: “Everyone here is lovely. You can see in their interactions with clients that they enjoy helping people; I would trust them with my money.” He’s not wrong that a career change can feel daunting; his advice to anyone considering the same leap is simple: “If you are thinking about it more often than not, just put feelers out and speak to people you’d be interested in, it’s not as scary as it seems.”
