M+A Partners Recognises Team Success with Promotions
M+A Partners has announced a new round of promotions across its tax, audit and service charge accounting teams, reflecting the firm’s continued investment in building technical capability and expertise while supporting career progression.
Tax promotions
Within the tax team, Andy Hart has been promoted to Tax Senior Manager and Caroline Clarke to Tax Manager.
Andy Hart – Tax Senior Manager
Since joining M+A Partners as a graduate trainee in 2017, Andy has become a trusted adviser to owner-managed businesses on all aspects of tax compliance and planning, including succession matters and HMRC digital disclosures. He became a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners in 2024, also receiving the STEP Excellence Award, recognising him as the highest-scoring student worldwide in the Advising the Family Business course.
Caroline Clarke – Tax Manager
Caroline, who joined M+A Partners in 1997, advises a broad portfolio of companies, self-employed individuals and trusts. With many years of experience in personal and business taxation, she supports clients with both compliance matters and ongoing tax planning.
Audit
Audit sees two further promotions, with Craig Osben and Alison Griffiths stepping into the role of Audit Manager. They support a broad portfolio of commercial, charity and not-for-profit organisations with their audit requirements.
Craig Osben – Audit Manager
Craig joined M+A Partners in October 2022 and has established himself within the audit team through his hard work and practical expertise. He is ACCA qualified, having studied Accounting and Finance at degree level before going on to achieve fellowship status with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Alison Griffiths – Audit Manager
Alison joined M+A Partners in August 2024 and brings extensive experience in audit, having worked in practice since 2016. ACCA qualified, she supports a diverse client base across multiple sectors, providing reliable, high-quality audit services and insight.
Service charge accounting
The firm’s service charge accounting team continues to expand, building on more than 20 years’ experience supporting landlords and property management companies across the UK’s commercial and residential property sectors. With a strengthened team of specialists in this area, the promotion of Anna Lightening to Property Management Client Lead reflects her contribution to the team’s development.
Anna Lightening – Property Management Client Lead
Anna manages a diverse portfolio of commercial and mixed-use property clients. She is responsible for the preparation and delivery of service charge accounts in line with RICS professional standards, ensuring accuracy, compliance and consistency across her client base.
