Karl Hayward, Account Executive at Everywhen, has successfully completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, raising £500 for programmes that make a positive difference across Norfolk.
Joining around 20 other individuals and business representatives from across the region, Karl took on one of the UK’s most demanding endurance events, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within a 31-hour period.
The challenge involved over 13 hours of climbing, more than 1,200 miles of travel, nearly 79,000 steps, and less than six hours of sleep. Despite the physical and mental demands, the experience highlighted the power of people coming together to support a common cause.
The £500 fundraising target was achieved thanks to the generosity of clients, colleagues, friends and family, with donations helping Norwich City Community Sports Foundation continue its work delivering sport, education and wellbeing programmes across the local community.
Karl said:
“This was one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever taken on, but also one of the most rewarding. Reaching the fundraising target and completing all three peaks made every step worthwhile.
I’d like to thank everyone who donated and supported the challenge. The experience reinforced just how much can be achieved when local people and businesses come together to support initiatives that make a genuine difference in our communities.”
