Co.next Workshop – Lions’ Den – Finding Balance in a Busy World

Finding Balance in a Busy World

In a world that celebrates being busy, when was the last time you gave yourself permission to pause?

Join Co.next for a restorative lunchtime experience with Paul Heywood, founder of Move Pause Restore. A former Royal Marines Commando, personal trainer, sports massage therapist and mindfulness practitioner, Paul combines movement, breathwork and mindfulness to help people reconnect with themselves and find greater balance in both their personal and professional lives.

This interactive workshop has been designed for busy young professionals who spend much of their time supporting others, leading teams, building businesses and juggling competing demands. Through simple and accessible techniques, Paul will explore how movement, mindful awareness and intentional pauses can help improve focus, resilience, creativity and wellbeing.

The taster session will include insights into:

  • Practical mindfulness and breathwork techniques
  • Gentle movement suitable for all abilities
  • An introduction to the benefits of pausing with purpose
  • Tools to help manage stress and improve focus
  • Time for reflection and connection with fellow Co.next members
  • Exclusive attendee discount for The Lion’s Den saunas

A delicious Soul Bowl lunch will be provided, giving attendees the opportunity to continue conversations with new friends in the relaxed surroundings of The Lion’s Den.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, looking to improve your wellbeing, or simply curious about mindfulness, this session offers a chance to step away from your desk and invest in yourself.

Leave feeling calmer, clearer and better equipped to navigate the demands of modern working life.

Spaces are limited, and we expect this unique workshop to fill quickly.

About The Lions’ Den

The Lions’ Den is a community and social business built around the idea that people feel their best when they have somewhere to belong.

Our new City venue on White Lion Street has been designed as a place where people can work, meet, unwind and connect throughout the day. Alongside our rooftop saunas and café, you’ll find a growing community of freelancers, entrepreneurs, remote workers and professionals who use the space as an alternative to working from home.

The Lions’ Den provides lots of opportunities to connect with others:

Co-Working Club

Join us each week for focused work sessions with great coffee, superfast WiFi and a friendly community of freelancers, founders and remote workers. It’s productive without feeling corporate, with plenty of opportunities for conversations over coffee.

City and River Cafes

Comfortable seating, quality coffee, seasonal food, reliable WiFi at both sites and a relaxed atmosphere great for a few hours of work or a meeting.

Sauna & Ice Baths

Three bespoke saunas, including East Anglia’s first rooftop saunas, plus ice baths and social sauna sessions provide the perfect way to decompress after work or network in a more relaxed environment.

Norwich’s first alcohol-free late bar

A refreshing alternative to after-work drinks, serving alcohol-free pints or cocktails, and coffee.

Classes & Workshops

From yoga and movement classes to talks, our studio space makes it easy to integrate time for yourself into your working day.

Community Events

We regularly host social events, networking opportunities, quizzes, craft nights and wellbeing initiatives designed to help people make genuine connections.
