Another Successful CTS Compliance Seminar
Another CTS Compliance Seminar for the books!
We knew it would be hard to top our first compliance seminar but we did. With even more speakers, even more attendees and even more opportunities to learn, share and connect with other professionals in the transport industry.
The event was attended by around a wide variety of professionals in the logistics industry, from transport managers and planners to business owners, directors and transport consultants.
The CTS Transport Compliance Seminar was a great opportunity for local transport professionals to expand their knowledge of important compliance issues, keep up with the latest industry developments, and connect with fellow businesses.
We heard from:
Scott Bell from JMW Solicitors who returned and advised on correct tachograph reporting and drivers hours management.
An attendee commented that Scott is someone who truly knows, and understands, the transport sector and the intricacies of the law regarding defending drivers and companies alike.
Another returning guest was the Norfolk Police Commercial Vehicle Unit who delivered a talk on safe loading, and also detailed many of the aspects the CVU look for when investigating incidents, or considering LGV inspections
Suzannah from TRS Training shared insights into the value of apprenticeships, including how they can help upskill your staff.
Commenting, Craig Cooper said “It was another fantastic turnout for our latest CTS Compliance Seminar and I’m delighted that at only our second event we can already see them going from strength to strength. We are going to keep growing them with a continued focus on compliance”.
Adding, Tom Cornwell said “The high attendance at only our second ever CTS Compliance Seminar shows the confidence our clients have in us. We do not take this for granted and we look forward to our next compliance event in the Autumn where we will bring an exciting new format and more fantastic speakers”.
