EACH Charity Golf Day In Memory of Stanley McLean, sponsored by MCB Financial Services Ltd
Stanley was born on 2 January, 2011. He had a heart condition called tetraology of fallots, further complicated by a missing pulmonary valve. He underwent surgery at eight days old and again at five months. Further surgery followed in July 2012 after a routine check showed the conduit in his heart was narrowing. Complications occurred during surgery and sadly Stanley died, aged 18 months-old.
His parents, Brad and Debbie McLean, from Wymondham, received bereavement counselling from EACH and have since become stalwart fundraisers for both the regional charity and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) – where Stanley spent months of his life.
Brad has been an EACH Trustee since 2016. He said: “Having used the services of EACH and now being involved as an EACH Trustee, I understand first-hand the amazing work they do. We can think of no better way to remember our little boy than to give just a small amount back to a place that helped us during our most difficult time and continues every day to do the same for so many families in East Anglia.”

This SundayLP Partner Jonathon Chaddand a family team of 5 others will be running the Bungay Black Dog half marathon to raise money for the East Coast Hospice. This charitable trust has secured land at Gorleston to build a 10 bed hospice which is now moving forward to the planning consent stage. This is a very worthwhile charity and I hope you will feel able to give it your support. In addition to inpatient end of life provision the Hospice will provide facilities for families to stay with patients and specialist palliative day care, alternative therapies, outreach homecare and educational training for those involved in the nursing profession.
We are aiming to get the whole team of runners to complete the circular course of 13 miles from Bungay to Beccles and back in an average of under 2 hrs and I hope that your support will motivate us to achieve that.
Differences between individuals at work can lead to lack of focus on the job, grievances, absences, loss of valuable employees and sometimes Employment Tribunal claims. This training course is accredited by NCFE, a trusted and recognised awarding organisation, so the certificate gained meets a consistent standard. The training and delegate assessment are externally verified by NCFE and quality assured. Successful learners will be awarded the Acas Certificate in Internal Workplace Mediation. Delegates are assessed through their performance in role play activity on the course and by their written responses to 6 questions based on the five units of the course.
